Don Bosco College – Scholarships

  1. Thanangattu Family Scholarship is set up with the generous contribution of Mr. Thanangattu Thomas. An amount of Rs. 50,000/- per year is distributed as scholarship for the best performing PG students of Don Bosco Campus.  Achievements in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are considered while selecting the recipients.
  2. Bro. Shaji Kalavanal Memorial Scholarship is established the by the alumni of the first three batches, in honour of Rev. Bro. Shaji Kalavanal, the first principal of the college. Three scholarships are given each year.
  3. Don Bosco-tekVizion Scholarship is established by the alumni of the college working in tekVizion Voice Solutions. It is given to the student who receives highest mark in the subject ‘Software Engineering’.
  4. Mullu Centil Memorial Scholarship is established by the staff and companions of Ms. Mullu Centil, former student of the college, who passed away on 19th September 2017. The scholarship is instituted to encourage co-curricular and extra-curricular activities among the students.
  5. In addition, the college facilitates the students to get as many government scholarships as possible. Several students of the college receive approximately 30,000/- per year as scholarships, from the government.
